There are many ways for businesses and individuals to support School for Friends. The school is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization and all gifts are tax deductible.Annual Auction
The simplest way to support School for Friends is to bid on items at our annual fundraising auction, held each fall. Check the Events Calendar for the date of the next auction.
Businesses and individuals can support School for Friends by donating gifts or products that we can use in our annual auction. Past gifts have included: hotel and vacation stays, wine, restaurant meals, books, art and collectibles, musical instruments, spa services, cleaning services, and more. Auction donations are tax-deductible (or deductible as business expenses).
Fund for Friends Annual Giving Campaign
The Fund for Friends annual giving campaign committee mails a brochure and donation envelope in early December seeking the support of our generous current and alumni parents for our nurturing program which emphasizes creativity, caring, and nonviolent conflict resolution.
The Fund for Friends campaign raises money to serve the school community by supporting teacher compensation and retention efforts (including continuing education and professional development), maintaining affordable tuition rates while offering the highest quality program for our children, providing financial aid to deserving students in support of our commitment to diversity, and securing the school's future by supplementing the operating fund to provide additional unrestricted monies for improvements to the program, facilities, and equipment. At present, we look forward to studying the possibility of renovating the Pilgrims campus playground and facilities and consolidating our school community at one location.
The Fund for Friends campaign closes May 1st. Tax deductible contributions to the annual giving campaign can be made by cash, check, or pledge. Stocks and mutual fund shares are gratefully accepted and not only allow a tax-deduction but eliminate capital gains. Help Grow our Endowment Fund
Contribution to the School for Friends Endowment Fund
enables us to provide scholarships for students, support career advancement opportunities for our highly-dedicated teachers, enable capital improvements and create a perpetual flow of income for the school. A gift to the fund will make it possible for the school to face the future with financial confidence.

Watch for Employer Matching Gifts
Increase the impact of your donation to School for Friends with matching funds from your employer! Many employers have gift-matching programs, in which they will match part or all of your contribution to the School. If your employer has such a program,take advantage of it. If not, ask that they create one!
